Originally from Montreal, engaged resident of Montreal West, and father of two boys, Jonathan Cha is a specialist in urban planning and a landscape architect. An expert in cities, heritage, and public space, he currently works as director of projects for an architectural firm as manager of the team responsible for the planning of the Grand parc de l’Ouest in the West Island. Formerly, he was principal advisor and team leader for Parc Jean-Drapeau's 2020-2030 Conservation, Design and Development Plan.
Jonathan has deep expertise in public governance. As a member of eight boards of directors, including the Association of Landscape Architects of Quebec, he has reviewed mission and vision statements, established organizational priorities, and participated in strategic planning and reporting activities.
